Paul Wesley is a multi-award award-winning actor, producer and director. He's best known for his role as Paul in The Vampire Diaries. For his role in the show, he's been recognized with numerous awards and nominations including the Teen Choice Awards as well as the Young Hollywood Awards. Wesley was born in New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his college years, he demonstrated an interest for acting. Then he attended Rutgers University. He dropped out after realizing what the potential he had acting. He first appeared on an episode of the American TV show Another World. In the span of two years, he portrayed the main role in Wolf Lake on CBS. After he took on the role of Stefan Salvatore for the American television program The Vampire Diaries, his career changed. In addition, he has been directing episodes of the hit series. From the moment he made his debut in the film The Last Run he has appeared in several popular movies. Recently, he was seen in the films Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer in supporting roles. Additionally, he's popular in social media with more than 13 million Instagram followers as well as more than 4.1 million Twitter followers.
